I watched this movie with out any prejudgments - even after seeing the hideous trailers. But I have learnt my lesson about being a non-biased movie reviewer ... because Black Sheep was a terribly crappy movie.

Black Sheep was Jonathan King's first big time movie - which he both directed and wrote - and I can say he pretty much mastered the art of taking a black comedy to the edge and then adding in as many unnecessary gruesome and stupid bits as possible.

So this is probably the perfect moment to tell you that Black Sheep is about a sheep farm in New Zealand where an experiment in genetic engineering turns everyday sheep into blood-thirsty killers. Ok so I'm guessing some of you (namely the guys) are saying "cooool"... but the rest of us (normal people) are saying "stupid". And that's exactly what I thought after watching this film.

The cast of New Zealand actors should be reminded that they have managed to do what many Australian actors have done: display to the world that they are willing to take the piss out of themselves. But unlike the Aussies the Kiwis managed to come out looking even worse than before.

So if you’re like me, who would rather pull teeth than sit through a bloody black comedy, then bypass on this one But if you were one of those people who think a bunch of sheep killing people sounds cool, then buy this, dim the lights down low, microwave some pop corn and endure…

Verbatim:
Tucker:
“What about the sheep?”
Angus: “#*@$ the sheep!”
Tucker: “No time for that bro. Go go go!”

In a Word: Crap
