The Dude

The Dude Portrait

Dave Ubadah Daniel Edwards (as he’s know to the police and the clergy) is a man currently pouring all of his resources into creating the perfect guitar riff. He is the creator of YouReview, a website dedicated to the review of YouTube clips, and has recently started training his pet rabbit Coco to do card tricks. When not writing DVD reviews, he is hunkered down in his fortified Melbourne compound searching for the perfect Parmesan cheese to compliment his famous simmered bolognaise sauce. The Dude has worked with Richie Sambora, The Rock, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Alba, and various sports and athletic types from around the planet, and loves guitars and all things.

Art

Art Portrait

With a BA from the University of Queensland in Creative Writing, Journalism and Literatrue, and a graduate diploma from the Bacchus Marsh Conservatory of Music Theatre, Art has written for many coastal plays and performed at festivals, fetes and roller-skating rinks. Currently hailing from the trendy corners of the DVDetails bunker in downtown Manor Lakes, Art enjoys nothing more than a short macchiato, rich dark chocolate and the work of poet laureate Andrew Motion. His poetry credits include The Ditch, Grand Old Flag, and Cadbury Madness. DVDetails marks Art’s return to the written word, after working for eight years in Byron Bay as a mime and part-time AFL umpire.

Lovey

Lovey Portrait

Meg Anne Adams’ on-going fantasy is to be swept up in a torrid romance by a handsome, family-devoted businessman with a good boy face, but bad boy mannerisms. To this end, Lovey – as she is know to her friends – has often wondered why her matchmaker.com profile was only responded to by swinging men after a “one-off good time”. This has not deterred the “20-something” gourmet cook with a self-confessed maternal streak, from believing she will eventually find love in all the right places. She longs to turn and return to some secret place inside, watching in slow motion as her prince turns around and says: “My love, take my breath away.”

Major Issues

Major Issues Portrait

Having been left in a box on the doorstep of the (now closed) Puckapunyal Foster Care and Ammunition Depot in 1962, Ian John Issue III was destined to be a soldier. In fact, the self-confessed anti-pacifist has long since forgotten the first weapon he owned, but seems to recall it being a Beretta Tomcat 32.
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to the Foster Care and Ammunition Depot by a military court as part of their community service for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly turned it into a maximum impact training facilities for underground mercenaries. Today, Major Issues still wants the government to green light his audition for Wheel of Fortune. If you have a problem… if no one else can help… and if you can find him… maybe Major Issues will taunt you mercilessly for having problems that you cannot overcome on your own.
